Soon after ending the 50 days deadline of the demonetization of old currency notes, PM Narendra Modi has announced launching of BHIM App that can be used by all the Citizens to make cashless payments through digital mediums. Since few days the government has been holding “Digi Dhan Mela” campaigns in different cities to promote cashless transactions and today in Delhi at the Digi Dhan Mela camp PM launched BHIM (Bharat interface for Money) App officially.
BHIM App named after Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar is developed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is inter-operable with Unified Payment Interface (UPI) applications and bank accounts. On starting the app download, you will be asked to give a permission to send an SMS and get registered your phone number.
