Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) recently announced an amazing offer to its subscribers in India through which all BSNL customers will soon be able to make free unlimited local and national calls to any network across the country with just Rs. 149 for a month. The new BSNL monthly tariff plan is expected to be introduced in the first month, which will help the state-run telecom service provider to compete with Reliance Industries’ arm Reliance Jio Infocomm, whose entry is seems causing disruption in the country’s telecom sector. The new BSNL Rs. 149 unlimited voice calling plan also include 300 MB 3G data usage for its customers with one-month validity.
BSNL is appeared to be aimed at not only to retain its existing customers but also enhancing customer base in the wake of Jio’s tactical pricing, and competitive tariffs by all the leading mobile network operators in India such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular. And now with this new plan BSNL will be on second position to Reliance Jio in offering free unlimited voice calling with low-value packs that priced at Rs. 99 and Rs. 339, to its prepaid customers. The new BSNL Rs. 99 and Rs. 339 plans offer unlimited voice calling and free bundled mobile data.
The Rs. 99 plan which offer unlimited local & STD voice calls comes with 300MB mobile data of 28 days validity and the Rs. 339 combo plan offers unlimited local & STD voice calls to any network in India along with 1GB mobile data of 28 days validity on pan-India basis. The price of new Rs. 99 plan will be applicable in Kolkata TD, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Gujarat, MP and Maharashtra & Rajasthan. In remaining circles the same offer may vary from Rs. 119 to Rs. 149.
This new BSNL unlimited free voice calling plan will be a big hit in the current Indian telecom sector since it will be available to all the existing 3G/2G BSNL mobile customers.
