There are still many customers using 2G handsets in India and since this plan will apply on to any device, considering the tariff plans and unlimited calling option, adding 300MB data chances are that people might switch to Rcom network. So the new unlimited plan will be live-in 17 RCom circles, and will not be available in the 5 eastern markets -- West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Assam and Northeast -- where telecoms does not have 2G network.

Reliance Jio 4G has kept its unlimited data offer or the ‘Jio Welcome offer‘ on all its Jio SIMs till 31st December, 2016 only. So the next day onwards, a substantial dispute will begin among the entire telecom service providers in India.
